I am a pediatrician and mother of a young adult with Type 1 Diabetes.
As a doctor, I have spent the last 25 years caring for children and families like yours.
As a mother, I have raised T1D warrior who is thriving (and happens to be a physician, himself!).
My goal in writing this book is to provide parents with evidence-based information about managing Type 1 Diabetes that is readily available and easy to understand.
As T1D parent veterans, we have so much knowledge to share with others in the community, especially newly diagnosed families.
